Dr. Julienne Walker was born in Bronx, NY, where she practiced for about 13 years before relocating to New Jersey in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry. She has decades of experience in treating all age groups and is passionate about providing a quality of care which involves listening closely to patient concerns and addressing them. She has a special interest in contact lenses and has extensive training in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular disease.
Additionally, Dr. Walker mentors college students who are interested in the field of optometry and has conducted vision screenings in schools and senior centers to aid in the detection of potential vision problems as well as educating the community about the importance of regular vision care.
She is the mother of four children and enjoys photography, healthy eating and exercise. She is also a member of the Contact lens Society of America and the International Keratoconus Academy.
